Motivated by low incentives, I want Willoughby to suffer in a canon divergence AU. I wish to see him leading a miserable life, constantly rebuked by Lady Katherine and powerless to stop it because of the conditions on which he was granted Anne's dowry. Preferably with as little hurt to Anne herself as possible. She can be ignorantly happy with her handsome husband or a tyrant in the making, growing to surpass her mother.

I'm interested in an AU in which Mary was persuaded to marry Collins and their relationship works. I'd like them both to be awful to all the people around and kind to one another. Make them partners in little social crimes, judging all their neighbours from their imaginary high moral ground.
