Hello again, and continued thanks to everyone who has submitted nominations so far! The nominations period is nearing a close, with a little under two days remaining at time of posting. As I continue approving nominations, I'd like to take the time to clarify a few nominations that have been made since the previous query post.
If you see one (or more) of your nominations in this post, please comment on this post by the end of the nominations period, 22:00 UTC on 15 July (countdown) so that I can approve your tag(s) appropriately. Thank you!
Crossover Fandom- Caroline Bingley (P&P)/Any Austen Hero
Before I can approve this nomination, there are three points I would like to clarify: (1) Which version of Pride and Prejudice are you interested in for this tag? (2) Does 'Any Austen Hero’ include the hero from Caroline’s canon (i.e., Fitzwilliam Darcy) or only heroes from other canons? (3) Does ‘Austen Hero’ refer exclusively to the version of the hero in Austen’s original work, or are adaptations included? Would, for instance, Caroline Bingley (P&P - Austen)/Henry Tilney (NA 2007) be a valid fill for this tag?
To ensure that the tag accurately reflects your preferences, please respond to this post by 22:00 UTC on 15 July. In the absence of a response, I will approve the tag as Caroline Bingley (P&P - Austen)/Any Hero From Another Austen Book (Any Other Austen Book).
- Elinor Dashwood (S&S - Austen)/Any Austen Hero
Similarly to the above nomination, I would like to clarify (1) whether 'Any Austen Hero’ includes the hero from Elinor’s canon (i.e., Edward Ferrars) or only heroes from other canons (2) whether adaptation versions of heroes are included in the tag.
To ensure that the tag accurately reflects your preferences, please respond to this post by 22:00 UTC on 15 July. In the absence of a response, I will approve the tag as Elinor Dashwood (S&S - Austen)/Any Hero From Another Austen Book (Any Other Austen Book).
Emma - Jane Austen
- George Knightley/Other(s)
While this is a canonical tag, I don’t feel confident that its meaning will be clearly and compatibly understood by all interested participants. Would a tag like ‘George Knightley/Any (Emma - Austen)’ or ‘George Knightley/Original Character (Emma - Austen)’ accurately express your meaning?
Of note, you may adapt ‘Any’ and ‘Original Character’ tags to narrow down the kind of character you mean. For instance, you might wish to specify the character’s gender (e.g., ‘Original Female Character’) or profession (e.g., ‘Any Clergyman’).
If one of these options sounds right, you may edit your nomination accordingly. If none of the proposed tags reflects your interpretation of the tag, please comment with an explanation of your expectations for how this tag might be used by 22:00 UTC on 15 July. In the absence of a response, I will accept the tag as ‘George Knightley/Any (Emma - Austen)’.
Jane Bennet (P&P) & Emma Woodhouse (Emma)- Jane Bennet (P&P) & Elinor Dashwood (S&S)
- Jane Bennet (P&P) & Elizabeth Bennet (P&P) & Henry Tilney (NA)
Additionally, it appears that you have listed one of your desired relationship tags as the fandom for this set of nominations. In this case, ‘Crossover Fandom’ is the appropriate fandom tag. When you enter the nominations editing interface, there should be text to the left of ‘Jane Bennet (P&P) & Emma Woodhouse (Emma)’ indicating that it is currently listed as a fandom. Once you edit the text in that slot to read ‘Crossover Fandom’, you may add the previous tag to the first available relationship slot.
If all of this sounds too complicated, no worries—just let me know your preference regarding the version of each canon you’re interested in, and I can sort out the rest from my side.
If I don’t hear from you by 22:00 UTC on 15 July, I will add the following tags to the tagset under the fandom ‘Crossover Fandom’: ‘Jane Bennet (P&P - Austen) & Emma Woodhouse (Emma - Austen)’, ‘Jane Bennet (P&P - Austen) & Elinor Dashwood (S&S - Austen)’, and ‘Elizabeth Bennet (P&P - Austen) & Jane Bennet (P&P - Austen) & Henry Tilney (NA - Austen)’.
Please note that for technical reasons, if the necessary changes are not made to the fandom, your nominations page may not fully reflect these acceptances. Rest assured that they will all appear in the tagset before the sign-up period begins.
Nominations will remain open here until 15 July at 22:00 UTC. Thanks again!

Date: 2025-07-14 06:26 am (UTC)Unfortunately I have now begun to consider the horrible possibilities of Caroline Bingley/Fitzwilliam Darcy and added that as well.
