Now that nominations are officially closed, I just have a few more tags I would like to clarify before sign-ups begin on 18 July. Before I can move forward with this tag, I’d like to get a little more clarity on how it might be used. What sort of fic would you be likely to request and/or write using this tag? While I would particularly like to hear from the nominator on this question, other interested parties are welcome to weigh in.

In the absence of a response by 22:00 UTC on 17 July, this nomination will be rejected for 2025. However, I will consider adopting a formal policy on worldbuilding nominations for the 2026 round.

Would you consider Catherine Morland a valid fill for the ‘Any Morland sibling’ side of these tags? If not, the phrasing ‘Any of Catherine Morland’s Siblings’ might better communicate your expectations. Keep in mind that the ampersand (&) indicates a platonic relationship, meaning that you may receive platonic Catherine Morland & Henry Tilney fic for that tag if left as-is.

As far as I am aware, the Discworld series makes some reference to Jane Austen, but the series itself is not based on any of Austen’s works, meaning that it is not eligible for this exchange. If you believe that Discworld is an adaptation, retelling, or tribute to any of Austen’s works, or that it may be eligible on other grounds, please leave a comment with evidence supporting your position by 22:00 UTC on 17 July. If no evidence is provided, these nominations will be rejected.
